Clinical Training and Supervision

Dr. Mulrooney, C.Psych. provides individual supervision for MA, MPsy, PhD, and PsyD students, as well as psychologists in (or about to enter) supervised practice.

As of 2025, Dr. Mulrooney, C.Psych. has been the primary or alternate supervisor for 4 supervised practice psychologists and psychological associates who are now members of the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO), as well as 6 other students at various levels (e.g., MA students, PhD students, RPQs).

Individuals seeking supervision must be interested in deepening their understanding of psychodynamic therapeutic modalities (e.g., object relations theory, self psychology) and engaging deeply and authentically with both the clinical material and their own interpersonal experiences as it relates to their clinical work (e.g., transference-countertransference experiences in therapy and supervision). Clinicians seeking supervision do not need to have had previous experience with psychodynamic therapeutic modalities, but it is an asset.
